What to Bring to Your First Registry Intake

Your first intake appointment sets the baseline for every future review. Arriving prepared keeps the session within the scheduled 90 minutes.

Bring with you

  • All envelopes you wish to register, even if some seals appear damaged
  • Government-issued photo identification
  • Any existing notes about seal serial numbers or purchase dates
  • Deposit box keys are not required — just the box number and branch
  • A list of authorised family members for custody transfer purposes

Do not bring

  • Laptops or hardware wallets unless you need them for unrelated reasons — we do not examine devices
  • Unsealed recovery sheets — if you need envelope preparation, book that service separately

What happens in the room

You sit at our documentation table. We handle each envelope with cotton gloves, photograph exteriors, and record data in the ledger. You can watch the entire process. We do not ask you to reveal seed phrase contents.

After intake

You leave with your envelopes, a registry reference number, and a photocopy of your intake page. Your first annual review is scheduled before you depart.
