Client Notes & Registry Stories
What families and holders say about our envelope registers and annual review process.
Notes from register clients
We had four identical brown envelopes in a desk drawer — two from 2017, two from 2021, none labelled. The audit session took three hours and produced a numbered register I now keep with our will. I only wish we had done this before my mother tried to open the wrong one.— Soo-yeon L., registry audit client, four-envelope household
The annual review is straightforward: I bring the envelopes, they check the seals, I get a letter. It costs less than my safety deposit box and gives me something concrete to show my solicitor. The office is small and the appointment felt unhurried.— David K., annual review since 2020, two-envelope set
Min-seok spent time explaining why weight logging matters when you use different envelope brands. I appreciated the detail, though the initial intake ran longer than the 90 minutes quoted — partly because I had questions about split custody with my brother.— Ji-hoon R., new registration client, three envelopes across two locations
Our family office referred us after an executor dispute. Page Aspen Field did not resolve the dispute — that was for lawyers — but they gave us a neutral register both sides could reference. The report language was clear enough for my aunt who has never owned cryptocurrency.— Catherine W., custody transfer documentation, estate matter
Extended case: the Park family register
The Park family held recovery materials for a Trezor device in three sealed envelopes — one at home, one in a Hana Bank deposit box, and one held by their adult son in Seoul. After the father suffered a stroke, the family discovered the son’s envelope had been opened and resealed with a different tape.
Page Aspen Field conducted a registry audit over two sessions. We inventoried all three envelopes, photographed seal conditions, and established a new register with colour-coded seal types to prevent future confusion. The compromised envelope was logged but not opened; the family chose to create a fresh envelope through our preparation service and retire the damaged one.
The register now includes a custody transfer clause naming the son and daughter as authorised reviewers. Annual reviews alternate between the Yuseong-gu office and an on-site visit at the family home.
